Welcome to the Sands Point Civic Association web site. This web site contains information about the Village of Sands Point located on Long Island, New York. The Sands Point Civic Association is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in 1971. The association is concerned primarily with maintaining open and effective lines of communication with all residents on matters of interest to them and the village. The purpose of this web site is to provide Sands Points residents with up-to-date and useful information related to the village. Your feedback is always appreciated. Interested in joining the Sands Point Civic Association? Stay tuned, an application form will be added online shortly. Sands Point Civic Association meetings are usually the second Thursday of the month. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are at 8pm in the Village Hall. Meetings are open to the public and resident. Meeting dates and times are subject to change. Please call the Village Hall to confirm. IMPORTANT NEWS 12/14/07 - The Sands Point Civic Association's holiday event and annual meeting has been canceled due to weather conditions.
